Located on the west side of Knoxville, Tennessee, Hardin Valley has acres of beautiful farmland and is home to Pellissippi Community College, but in recent years, this area of town has been undergoing rapid growth and extensive development.
 
In April of 2022, Stansell Electric was contracted by APAC DBA Harrison Construction to turn the intersection of Hardin Valley, Hickory Creek, and East Gallaher Ferry into a roundabout to help the intersection be more efficient and safer due to a history of crashes.

Stansell Electric faced a challenge at the beginning of the project as there were long material lead times on poles. To help keep the prime contractors on schedule, they set up temporary pole lighting so the roundabout could be open on time in November of 2022. Once the new poles arrived, Stansell Electric was able to switch the temporary pole lighting to permanent pole lighting, completing this project in March of 2023.
