Mynatt Park
In April 2021, Stansell Electric partnered with Whaley Construction to modernize non-ADA compliant and insufficiently lit walking paths around Mynatt Park in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Whaley Construction reworked the concrete paths to ADA compliant standards and provided handrails throughout the park’s paths, and Stansell Electric installed lighting in the handrails that illuminated the pathways.
- Over 6,000 ft of conduit
- Over 5.5 miles of wire
- 295 miniature low voltage fixtures installed in handrails
- 25 bollards
As challenging as the terrain and location made the project, it was made even more challenging by a couple of regular visitors, whom we believe are enjoying the new modernization. TWO black bears. Great news to report, no humans or animals were harmed, and the project was completed in February of 2022.
