In April 2021, Stansell Electric partnered with Kiewit, TDOT, NES, NDOT and other trades, to assist with Metro’s new major capital improvement project called Madison Station Boulevard Complete Streets, in Madison, Tennessee.

Along with performing utility relocations for AT&T and NES, Stansell Electric was tasked to improve street lighting and signalization on Madison Station Boulevard from Gallatin Pike to Old Hickory Boulevard. Stansell made this possible by installing the following.

• 23 LED Fixtures on decorative street light poles
• More than 8,000 feet of 2” Conduit
• More than 20,000 feet of Wire
• 2 Dual-Arm Signal Poles
• 11 New Traffic Signals
• New 600 Amp Service for the Madison Public Library

This project, when completed by the Fall of 2022, will have a new roundabout, storm water enhancements, sidewalks, bicycle facilities, improved traffic signals, and other lighting and landscaping improvements which will transform the historic part of Madison. The addition of a new roadway and roundabout will address local connectivity issues transforming the area into a better livable and walkable neighborhood to accommodate the massive growth we are seeing in the metro area.
