The stadium features advanced infrastructure to support a variety of events, including baseball games, concerts, and community gatherings. About the Project

Stansell Electric was tasked with the intricate electrical and communications infrastructure for the highly anticipated Knoxville Multi-Use Stadium. Our scope included the installation of two major ductbanks, substantial conduit work, and coordination with multiple stakeholders. The first ductbank was a 10-way configuration housing 750MCM electrical cables from Knoxville Utilities Board, while the second was dedicated to fiber optic cabling for eight communications providers.

Project Scope and Achievements:

Ductbanks and Conduit Installation

  • Installed over 20,400 linear feet of 6-inch conduit, 31,800 linear feet of 4-inch conduit, and 6,800 linear feet of 2-inch conduit.
  • Positioned 56 concrete hand-holes and nine large electrical vaults, all buried 7 feet deep.
  • Moved nearly 4,000 cubic yards of dirt and 4,500 tons of aggregate.
  • Poured over 1,300 cubic yards of concrete.
  • Completed these tasks in just over seven months.
