Every year the City of Pigeon Forge is a wonderland during the winter holiday, shining millions of lights in celebration of the season. Winterfest runs from mid-November through mid-February. This year the City of Pigeon Forge made a large investment installing new light displays extending the celebration off the Parkway and along the Riverwalk Nature Trail Greenway, called “Winterfest Wonders of Light Walking Trail.” This doubles the number of displays you’ll see in Pigeon Forge during Winterfest.

Now the conundrum, there were no electrical services available along the trail and four months of work needed to be completed in thirty days. Stansell Electric accepted this challenge, they completed the large amount of work on time, dug through challenging rocky terrain and defeated difficult material lead times. Safely and successfully, and before the opening date of November 10th, Stansell Electric installed nine (9) new 200 Amp electrical services and installed over 5,000 linear feet of conduit for a future CCTV monitoring system.
