Stansell Electric Company was honored to be a part of Extreme Home Makeover’s efforts to rebuild Lighthouse Christian School this past week. The school, which was destroyed by May’s devastating flood, was in jeopardy of permanently closing as the owners lacked the funding to rebuild. After a whirlwind week filled with hard work, great fellowship and quite a few late nights, the new building was revealed this past weekend to the great delight of the owners, teachers and students for whom the school meant so much.

“Having experienced the devastating effects of the flood ourselves, we knew we wanted to be involved in this project in some way” said Robert Elliott, vice president of Stansell Electric Company. “Being able to partner with some of our closest friends in the construction industry to help such a deserving school was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up.”
