Description
We are seeking a skilled data or security technician capable of servicing, repairing, and providing preventative maintenance to the I.T.S. equipment currently installed in Chattanooga. The equipment includes: dynamic message signs (DMS), radar detection systems (RDS), closed circuit TV cameras (CCTV), highway advisory radio (HAR) and fiber optic network (FON). This equipment is installed along the interstate systems in Chattanooga and maintenance will require the individual to work outdoors in the elements. The right candidate must have a working knowledge of networking and be skilled in troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of fiber optic networks.
Qualifications
We prefer the candidate have an Associate’s Degree and a minimum of two years experience with electronic equipment, but will accept a combination of education and experience. Additional training will be provided through vendor certifications to ensure the individual has the skill levels necessary to meet the job requirements.
A valid driver license is also required.
Compensation
Compensation will be determined based on skills, education, and experience.
